Wearing a winter coat for pregnancy is not a waste of money. It doesn’t have to be the best maternity winter coat in the whole world. You might need the coat to make you look good while pregnant. You might need the coat to hide your pregnancy. Maybe you need it because you just like the way it looks. It lets people know your important and they should be careful around you. Don’t let someone tell you its a waste of time. It serves a winter jacket purpose and it good for covering your belly. Here are some interesting things to know about wearing a maturity jacket.
Look for Waist Change Maternity Coats
There are many coats out there and some come with adjustable waist. The adjustable waist will come in handy. It will make it easier for you to get dressed. You can wear anything under the adjustable waist coat. You can change the direction of the coat and make the coat wider for big belly days. Your pregnancy will not show in front of people unless you want it to show. You can talk about being pregnant to people or you can not talk about being pregnant. The choice is yours if you get a coat that has adjustable waist features.
Think About the Material You Want It In
The material you buy your maternity coat can be in any material you want. You don’t have to get it in cloth. You can get it in wool. Always wear your best maternity winter coat in material you desire the most. Its your money you know. You don’t have to get what is popular or trendy when it comes to maternity coats. Get what you feel you should get. The world does not care about you as much as you care about it. Do what you feel you should when looking for a maturity coat. Make it your own style.
Shop On the Non-Maturity Side
Now, there are a lot of people who say you should buy a maternity coat on the maternity side, but that is just what people say. You can always get you an old jacket a couple sizes bigger. The jacket does not need to say maternity for it to be maturity. Pick one of those hoodie zipper jackets and walk it off. Your belly will have enough space if you use a regular jacket that is bigger then what you normally wear for a jacket size.
Don’t worry about what people will say if you wear a jacket not for pregnant women. You got to do what you can afford. You also got to do what you want to do with what you wear. Backlash will come to you. But, it is your money and your free to buy what you want to cover up your pregnant belly. Go have some fun and stop thinking about it.
Meet the gorgeous A Family! We met on a brisk Fall morning. I was so glad they were ok with the chilly temperatures and shooting without coats, because their wardrobe choice was just gorgeous! My goal for this session was for everyone to have a great time and to capture them just how they are with one another. I love some of the moments and expressions that we caught. So very sweet. Thank you so much A Family for braving the cold and warming us all up with your happiness. I truly had a great time. Enjoy!
This was definitely an amazing Fall for outdoor sessions! The day of this session it was a gorgeous 65 degree day in late November. I had a few ideas for this session, one incorporating the antique baby carriage and I was hoping the weather would cooperate. Luckily it was just perfect. I really love working with the G family. Mom always has lots of great ideas and the family always looks just beautiful.
Baby B is growing up so quickly! She definitely doesn’t look like a 3 month old given all her delicious baby rolls and smiles. Absolutely to die for!
Thank you so much G Fam for having me! Looking forward to capturing a year full of memories!
The A Fam-
Such a gorgeous trio! Mom is a fellow ASU grad, so clearly we have a special bond (Although I am pretty sure I am a bit older)
Mr. B is almost two and just so fun to capture. This age typically wants to explore, play and keep on the move. Which is what we did! I love the image where he is mimicking his dad with the hands in the pockets. So stinkin’ cute!
Thanks so much L Family for having me! Enjoy!!
Last but not least for 2010…….Tracy and Matt’s wedding! My hat goes off to the wedding photographers out there! There are a lot of images to sort through after a wedding. Whew!
As my previous post mentioned, we have been lucky to have Tracy as our babysitter for the last 3 years. We have her every single Saturday night! That’s right! It is the best gift my husband and I have ever given to each other. Time to remember why we got married in the first place! And a reason to buy something to wear other than mom clothes;).
This wedding was so special. Tracy spent countless hours planning this wedding. I loved getting her weekly updates on the details. The day of their wedding was a bit chilly, but we managed to step outside for some outdoor portraits. Thank goodness for nerves, they keep your body temperature up! Tracy looked absolutely stunning. She typically does not like to get dressed up and I have to say I have never seen her look more gorgeous in my life. She and Matt are madly in love. You can see how much fun they have together and I am so happy I was able to be a part of their day when they officially became a couple forever.
Thanks so much Turee (what Cale used to call Tracy when he started talking) and Matt! Congratulations on your beautiful life together.
